We played our hearts out for 3.5 hours! You may have heard the saying, “nothing good happens after midnight.” Well, I can tell you that Hit Me Baby, One More Time happened after midnight. It’s not something we’re proud of, but it’s the best we can do. We played a few covers and people started making requests. We didn’t know (hadn’t heard of) any of the songs they requested. Our only consolation was to play a song that everyone knew. It was an accident, it won’t ever happen again. Ok, maybe it will happen again, but it’s more likely to happen if it’s after midnight.
The show went great. The bar was full. Libations were had, music was made, a little bit of vagabond folk was instilled in every heart. We have a video too. I’ll post that up in the next couple days (before august). Good times!
